Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) has succeeded in advancing to the top 10 best universities in Indonesia according to Webometrics 2021. Previously, UMY was ranked as the 15th best university in Indonesia and currently UMY has risen 5 places to become the 10th best university in Indonesia according to Webometrics 2021. Reported from the official Webometrics website, this ranking of the best universities aims to promote open access to knowledge produced by universities with several assessment indicators, namely visibility, impact, openness and excellence.

We hope that this breakthrough leap could lead UMY to the brighter path and contributes more to the society as to implement the Muhammadiyah values. (F)
