Happy Graduation to UMY Students!
Yogyakarta — Monday (14/03/2000), Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) again held a graduation ceremony for the third period of the 2021/2022 academic year on Wednesday (09/03). The event was held in the UMY Sportorium building in a hybrid manner, also broadcast live on UMY’s youtube channel.
In this graduation ceremony period III, UMY graduated as many as 1025 graduates from various study programs, both undergraduate, master’s and vocational programs which were divided into two sessions, morning and afternoon.
In his remarks, the Rector of UMY, Prof. Dr. Ir. Gunawan Budiyanto, M.P., IPM., said that Indonesia was entering a demographic bonus. This means that the quality of human resources will be a challenge in the future. In that regard, he emphasized to the graduates to be the trigger for the younger generation who can create quality human resources.
In this graduation ceremony, 86 graduates are graduated from the International Relations Department with BA in Political Science degree. We hope this graduation can be a milestone for students to further thrive and develop themselves to be a better individual.
