Career Insight: Kickstart Your Career Path!
Yogyakarta — Friday (11/12/2020), the Bureau of External of the IPIREL Community held an exclusive event for the IPIREL student to projecting their future career path. This event held under the theme “Landing Opportunity for IRs Graduate” by inviting IPIREL Alumni batch 2010, Edwin Mohammad. He is currently as Lead UX Writer at Blibli. Prior to Blibli, Edwin Mohammad was Senior UX Writer at Gojek, and Lead Story Copywriter at Traveloka in the previous role. He was invited at UX Evening @ Google, Tech in Asia PDC 2019, and TemanKata by Kata.ai. Also, a Mentor to students at Universitas Prasetiya Mulya and Innovation Factory Academy.
According to the Bureau of External, many IPIREL students nowadays are still confused about what we have going to do after graduation. With this, the Bureau of External IPIREL Community intended to facilitate their worries through online sharing with IPIREL alumni, which is why this event promoted with the #MeetTheAlumi hashtag.
The participants are highly interactive during the discussion as the speaker is to stimulate the materials with an exciting method. However, the committee chooses Edwin Mohammad because the background career is a multinational company, one of the concentration options in the International Relations department Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.
