Getting the opportunity to study in Taiwan is a pride for me. The most memorable thing when attending student exchanges at Shu-Te University is the experience as a Muslim minority. I was amazed to see how the host university gave the Muslim students very helpful facilities, such as halal kitchens and prayer rooms. So we feel accepted as a minority in their society and not alone.

Moreover, coinciding with the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic made me learn a lot about how the Taiwan government can quickly respond to emergencies. I am very grateful to IPIREL UMY that opening opportunities for students to gain valuable experience, transcending racial and cultural boundaries on their journey to pursue the future.
