IPIREL as the international program of International Relations Department of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta with its vision, “To be an excellent and islamic department of International Relations in Southeast Asia in 2025”, slowly but sure, IPIREL try to achieve this vision through making networks in academic scoop with other universities in Southeast Asia region. One of the action is welcoming the visitation from Prince Songkla University Institute for Peace Studies.
This visitation was occurred on Saturday, May 26, 2018 in ASEAN Conference Simulation Room Building E4 1^st Floor. The delegation from Prince Songkla University Institute for Peace Studies brings 15 persons, including Association Professor Dr. Wichai Kanchanasuwon as the head of delegation and the representative who speaks during the visitation.
During the visitation, they talk about the step to establish an international program and also the various programs that organized by IPIREL, such as the transfer credit exchange student, international community service, and so on and so forth. Besides, Mr. Bambang Wahyu Nugroho as the representative of IPIREL UMY also encourages to make a MoU with Prince Songkla University as the following action of this visitation.
